For economic development offices, industrial park owners, airport authorities and mobility centres
One mobility program for an entire employment zone.
You bring the employers together. RideUnity runs one program across them, matches coworkers across employers with consent, and reports the zone’s progress to you every month. Each employer keeps its own contract, budget and rules.
The briefing kit is a PDF you can send to employers. No form.
What is a mobility zone?
A mobility zone is a group of neighbouring employers, such as the tenants of an industrial park or an airport, that share one commute program: one launch, one pool of people to match, shared mobility services and one set of reports. Each employer keeps its own agreement and rules. People are matched across employers when both employers and the person agree, and the convener follows the zone’s progress in one monthly report.
See your zone’s progress every month
Participation by employer against the goal you set, active carpoolers by shift and corridor, rides home and priority-parking use. Totals only, never names.
Matching across employers widens every person’s pool: more people on the same roads and shifts means more matches and fuller cars.
| Employer | Registered | Active | Toward goal |
|---|---|---|---|
| Employer A | 140 | 52 | |
| Employer B | 96 | 31 | |
| Employer C | 64 | 18 | |
| Employer D | 38 | 9 |

What your zone receives
How a mobility zone runs
You convene
Invite the employers to a one-hour briefing. We prepare and present.
Employers sign
Each signs its own pilot. Contracts and budgets stay separate.
One launch
A shared kit and sessions adapted to each site’s shifts.
Run together
A monthly zone committee reviews results and next steps.
Grow the zone
New employers join the same program as it proves itself.
What conveners see, and what stays private
Totals by employer, shift and area: registrations, active carpoolers, shared rides, rides home and parking use. Never names, home addresses or individual trips. Matching across employers starts only when both employers turn it on and each person agrees; before two people accept, each sees a first name, employer and shift, never an address or phone number. Airports and logistics zones get the same report, by employer on site.
Funding and cost-sharing
Each employer funds its own pilot. Conveners can co-fund the zone or individual pilots, with an agreement tied to each employer’s success plan, so funding follows real participation.
Questions from conveners
Who signs the contract?
Each employer signs its own pilot agreement. Your organization signs only if it funds or leads the zone layer.
What data do we receive?
Participation by site and by area of residence. No names, no home addresses.
How many employers do we need?
Two neighbouring employers can start. Each employer that joins widens the pool for matching across employers.
Can our partners take part?
Yes. Mobility centres and local partners can run outreach and launch sessions with us. Roles are agreed at the start.
Bring your employers. We run the zone.
Tell us about your zone. You get a first read of its corridors and shifts, and a plan for the employer briefing.
