Offset What Remains — Responsibly.
RideUnity helps employers reduce solo commuting and measure estimated commute activity for ESG-ready reporting. For residual emissions or broader organizational carbon needs, RideUnity customers can purchase verified carbon credits directly from Will Solutions — a Certified B Corporation (B Lab score: 143.7, nearly 3× the median) with nearly 20 years of carbon expertise, over 6.28 million VCS-certified credits issued, and 160+ participating members in its Sustainable Community program.
Credits are purchased directly from Will Solutions Inc. Checkout, pricing, fulfilment, and buyer support are provided by Will Solutions, not RideUnity. Eligible energy, waste, and decarbonization projects may also be reviewed by Will Solutions, where applicable and subject to validation, verification, and registry acceptance. No other B2B commute platform offers this integrated pathway.
RideUnity commute and carpooling activity does not automatically generate certified carbon credits. Verra rejected a proposed carpooling methodology (M0247) citing additionality and baseline concerns. RideUnity provides commute-reduction technology and estimated activity reporting for employer ESG visibility. Carbon credit purchases, eligibility reviews, validation, verification, registry acceptance, and credit retirement are handled by Will Solutions through its established VCS-certified processes. Will Solutions updated VM0018 in 2024 to include transportation, but this revision is pending VCS program review and ICVCM approval — RideUnity does not claim transportation-sector credit eligibility until formally approved.

RideUnity helps employers reduce solo commuting through organized carpooling, smart commute matching, and employee participation tracking.
RideUnity provides estimated commute activity and participation reports to support internal ESG, HR, facilities, and sustainability decisions.
For residual emissions or broader organizational carbon needs, RideUnity customers can purchase verified credits directly from Will Solutions or request a review of eligible energy, waste, and decarbonization projects.
Estimated commute reporting supports decision-making. It is not a substitute for formal GHG accounting, MRV, validation, verification, or registry acceptance. Carbon-neutrality claims require proper emissions accounting, verified credit retirement, and independent review.

1 carbon credit = 1 tonne of CO₂ reduced or avoided
A carbon credit generally represents one tonne of CO₂e reduced, removed, or avoided under an approved methodology and verification process.
Organizations typically use carbon credits to address residual emissions after reduction efforts. Credible use depends on transparent documentation, appropriate retirement records, and disciplined climate claims.
RideUnity does not claim that commuting activity automatically generates certified carbon credits.
Important: Do not use carbon credits to claim carbon neutrality unless you have appropriate emissions accounting, verified credit purchase, retirement documentation, and independent review. The VCMI Claims Code of Practice (v3.0, April 2025) provides guidance on credible corporate claims.
